ADD ICON EFFECTS: TUTORIAL #1
1) Open the base
2) Duplicate the base (Layers > Duplicate)
3) Set the new layer to Overlay (Layers > Properties > Blend Mode > Overlay)
4) Go to Layers > New Raster Layer
5) Use the flood fill tool to fill the new layer with the color #180569.
6) Set the new layer to Exclusion (Layers > Properties > Blend Mode > Exclusion)
7) Copy (right click > copy)
and paste it as a new layer (right click > paste as a new layer).
8) Set the new layer to Soft Light (Layers > Properties > Blend Mode > Soft Light).
9) Go to Layers > Merge > Merge All.
10) Optional: Add a border and/or text.
In my example I have added a 2px border in #180569. And added text in size 10 Franklin Gothic Medium Cond.
